Changing User Password
Open Users > Accounts context to reset an account password. You must be logged on with an Administrator role in order to change the password of a user.
To change a user's password:
- From the Accounts List Window, select the user whose password you want to change. This opens the Property Window, which shows the various properties of the currently selected user.
- In the Properties Window, expand General category. This shows all the properties that belong to the selected user.
- In the Password property, click the ellipsis found at the end of this property. This opens a dialog where the password can be changed.
- Enter a new password and confirm password. The user's password is now updated in the Pharos Database.
If the user that you want to edit is not on the List Window, you must apply filters. For more information about how to apply filters, see Filtering Records.
