Pharos Billing Gateways
The Pharos Billing Plug-in talks to the Pharos Billing Gateways. The Billing Gateways allow communication to occur between the Billing Plug-in and the server of the relevant online billing system. Although the Billing Plug-in must be installed on a Pharos Server, the machine that the actual Gateway is installed on does not have to be part of the Pharos system.
Help files containing instructions on configuring and testing gateways are installed with each gateway.
Currently Pharos supports the following Billing Gateways:

Pharos supports offline billing for all Billing Gateways. Offline billing options are configured at System > System Settings > Offline Mode tab.
Use of the Billing Plug-in means that users can access only their online balance. To allow users access to internal Pharos accounts as well as their online balance, use the Billing - Pharos Accounts Plus Online Accounts.txt script, available on the Pharos disk image at tools\plugins\scripts.
When EDI-controlled Network Terminals (e.g. Pharos Omega terminals) are used with a Billing Gateway, and users do not have accounts in the Pharos system, a script with the content "Plug-In.Result = true" must be created and attached to the Logon event of the Bank used by the terminals.
